1. Artist Submission Requirements
StreetThomas.com | Street Thomas™ Connections (“StreetThomas.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides opportunities for independent and established recording artists, musicians, performers, and other creative professionals (“Artists”) to submit their work for potential promotional consideration, editorial coverage, and featured placement on our website.
By submitting content or subscribing to our promotional services, Artists acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this section.
All Artists are required to provide honest, truthful, accurate, complete, and non-misleading information concerning themselves, their music, professional accomplishments, affiliations, credentials, and any other information intended for publication on StreetThomas.com.
Artists must not knowingly misrepresent their identity, ownership of musical works, professional achievements, recording contracts, awards, certifications, or associations with other individuals or organizations.
StreetThomas.com reserves the right to request clarification, verification, or supporting documentation concerning any submitted information and may reject, correct, suspend, or remove content that we reasonably believe is inaccurate, misleading, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate.
2. Required Artist Content & Promotional Materials
As part of the submission and publication process, Artists may be required to provide promotional materials, including but not limited to:
- Professional artist photographs, promotional images, and approved artwork.
- Artist biographies, background information, and career highlights.
- Links to music streaming platforms, official websites, and social media profiles.
- Album and single titles, release dates, and relevant music information.
- Music videos, audio links, press releases, and other promotional materials.
- Additional information reasonably requested by StreetThomas.com to prepare, verify, or publish an Artist feature.
Artists are solely responsible for ensuring that submitted materials are accurate, suitable for publication, and provided in a timely manner.
Any delay in supplying requested materials, responding to inquiries, completing required payments, or providing necessary approvals may result in a corresponding delay in the preparation and publication of the Artist’s feature.
StreetThomas.com shall not be responsible for publication delays attributable to incomplete submissions, missing materials, inaccurate information, or an Artist’s failure to fulfill the submission requirements.
3. Paid Artist Features & Promotional Services
StreetThomas.com may offer both complimentary and paid promotional opportunities, depending on the nature of the submission, available website placements, editorial considerations, and promotional services requested.
Artists may be required to remit payment before their feature is prepared, scheduled, or published on StreetThomas.com.
Any applicable fees, payment requirements, and the scope of paid promotional services will be communicated to the Artist before purchase or subscription.
Submission of music, photographs, biographies, or other promotional materials does not automatically guarantee acceptance, publication, or placement on our website.
Without payment of any required promotional or placement fees, StreetThomas.com cannot guarantee that an Artist will receive a featured placement on our website.
Payment for an expressly accepted paid feature establishes an obligation for StreetThomas.com to provide the agreed promotional service, subject to the Artist satisfying all applicable submission requirements and these Terms & Conditions. Payment does not guarantee particular audience engagement, streaming activity, sales, publicity, or commercial success.
StreetThomas.com retains editorial discretion over the presentation, formatting, and positioning of all published features, subject to any specific written commitments made to the Artist.
4. Editorial Rights, Publication & Removal of Content
StreetThomas.com reserves the right, at its discretion, to review, edit, format, publish, update, reposition, temporarily suspend, or remove Artist-related content appearing on our website.
Artists acknowledge that StreetThomas.com may make editorial changes or remove submitted content without obtaining additional prior consent, provided such actions are consistent with applicable law and any specific contractual obligations.
Although prior consent is not ordinarily required for routine editorial changes, StreetThomas.com will generally make reasonable efforts to communicate with Artists concerning significant changes, corrections, or issues affecting their published features.
We aim to maintain a collaborative and professional relationship with Artists while preserving the editorial independence, operational integrity, and reputation of our website.
StreetThomas.com may remove content that violates these Terms & Conditions, infringes third-party rights, contains materially inaccurate information, or presents legal, security, or reputational concerns.
5. Prohibited, Unlawful & Harmful Content
Artists expressly agree not to submit, distribute, or request publication of any material that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, malicious, exploitative, or otherwise harmful in nature.
Prohibited submissions include content that:
- Violates applicable local, provincial, federal, or international laws.
- Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights.
- Contains fraudulent claims, impersonation, or deliberately misleading information.
- Promotes violence, criminal conduct, unlawful discrimination, or threats against individuals or groups.
- Contains malicious software, viruses, trojans, worms, or other harmful digital components.
- Includes unauthorized personal information, confidential materials, or content obtained unlawfully.
- Otherwise violates StreetThomas.com’s editorial standards or these Terms & Conditions.
StreetThomas.com reserves the right to refuse publication, suspend services, or remove content that violates these requirements, without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
6. Copyright, Ownership & Permission to Publish
Artists retain ownership of their original music, photographs, biographies, artwork, trademarks, and other intellectual property, subject to any rights held by third parties.
By submitting materials to StreetThomas.com, Artists represent and warrant that they own the materials or have obtained all permissions, licenses, and authorizations necessary to permit their use and publication.
Artists grant StreetThomas.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, display, publish, format, distribute, and promote submitted materials in connection with the requested Artist feature and related website or social media promotion.
This license does not transfer ownership of the Artist’s intellectual property to StreetThomas.com.
Artists are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from photographers, producers, record labels, publishers, collaborators, and other rights holders before submitting materials.
7. Final Sales, Cancellations & Refund Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL, SUBJECT TO APPLICABLE LAW AND THE LIMITED EXCEPTIONS OUTLINED BELOW.
Once an Artist purchases, subscribes to, or otherwise pays for a promotional service or featured placement through StreetThomas.com, payments are generally non-refundable.
Refunds will not ordinarily be provided where an Artist:
- Changes their mind after purchasing a promotional service.
- Voluntarily withdraws from the promotional opportunity.
- Fails to provide required photographs, biographies, music links, or other requested materials.
- Provides inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or unauthorized content.
- Causes publication delays through failure to respond, cooperate, or satisfy submission requirements.
- Violates these Terms & Conditions or applicable laws.
An Artist may be entitled to a refund if StreetThomas.com fails to publish an expressly agreed and paid Artist feature for reasons not attributable to the Artist, including where we are unable or unwilling to provide the purchased service.
Where StreetThomas.com is responsible for such a failure, we may first offer a reasonable opportunity to complete the agreed publication, where appropriate and permitted by law. If the service cannot be delivered, a refund of the applicable undelivered service fee will be provided, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or overrides any refund, cancellation, consumer protection, or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
8. Publication Timelines & No Guarantee of Results
StreetThomas.com will make reasonable efforts to prepare and publish accepted Artist features within any agreed publication schedule.
Unless expressly confirmed in writing, estimated publication dates are not guaranteed deadlines.
Publication timelines may be affected by editorial workloads, website maintenance, technical difficulties, payment processing, incomplete submissions, and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
StreetThomas.com does not guarantee any particular number of website visitors, music streams, social media followers, sales, recording opportunities, industry contacts, or commercial outcomes resulting from an Artist feature.
Our promotional services are intended to provide exposure and discovery opportunities rather than guaranteed career or financial results.
9. Artist Responsibility & Indemnification
Artists are responsible for the accuracy, legality, authenticity, and authorization of all content they submit.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Artists agree to indemnify and hold harmless StreetThomas.com, its owners, operators, representatives, and affiliates against third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from the Artist’s breach of these Terms & Conditions, infringement of intellectual property rights, or submission of unlawful or unauthorized materials.
This provision does not relieve StreetThomas.com of responsibility for its own unlawful conduct, negligence, or failure to fulfill obligations where liability cannot legally be excluded.
10. Acceptance of Artist Submission Terms
By submitting promotional materials, requesting an Artist feature, or purchasing promotional services through StreetThomas.com, Artists acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Artist Submission, Featured Placement & Payment Terms.
StreetThomas.com reserves the right to revise these terms from time to time. Material changes affecting an existing paid agreement will be handled in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
These provisions form part of the general Terms & Conditions governing StreetThomas.com.
